  • “Smells of India” (Boby-Australia)

Little India in Penang is a not too hard to find little gem. Walk the streets, smell the food and spices, watch a Bollywood movie outside a video shop or shop for very gold trinkets. Plan too eat there too. Fresh, authentic Indian food at its best.

  • “Great atmosphere.” (Teresah-Manchester,England)

The whole area is bright and colorful. There is a great atmosphere. with all the cooking smells, flower shops and traditional musics.Lots of traditional fashions to buy at reasonable prices..

  • “Our favourite bit of Georgetown” (Feybeline-Florida,US)

A must see at night in Georgetown! Lots of stalls and street food, Bollywood music blasting out and just a nice safe bustling atmosphere. We ate outside at one of the street food stalls - amazing curry and chapatis - 14 ringgit for 2 people - we ate with our hands and loved the experience..
